Privacy policy

The short version: you can use every mock test on GovExam without an account, and the optional profile you can create is stored in your own browser rather than on our servers.

Practice without an account

Every one of the 228 mock tests can be opened and attempted without registering, without an email address and without any payment.

The optional profile

If you choose to create a GovExam profile, the name, email, phone number and preparation goals you enter are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. Your scores, attempt history and daily streak are stored the same way. This means:

• Your progress stays on the device and browser you used.
• Clearing your browser data erases it permanently — we cannot restore it, because we do not hold a copy.
• Your GovExam profile is separate from any Techclick course account.

If you enter a name before starting a paper, it is used to print your name on the practice certificate that paper generates. That certificate is produced in your browser.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or share your personal information.
• We do not collect payment details anywhere on this site, because nothing here is paid.
• We do not run advertising networks or ad-tracking pixels on GovExam.

Technical logs

GovExam is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is ordinary web infrastructure logging and is not used to build a profile of you.

Links to official websites

Pages here link out to government websites such as ssc.gov.in, upsc.gov.in, ibps.in and ctet.nic.in. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Read theirs before entering personal details or making a payment on them.

Children

GovExam is intended for candidates preparing for government recruitment examinations, who are typically adults or senior school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Erasing your data

Clear your browser's site data for govexam.techclick.in, or use your browser's "clear browsing data" option. That removes your profile, scores and streak completely. If you have any question about data, write to support@techclick.in.
